About Julia Bell Photography
I enjoy photographing babies, children and families either in the comfort of their own home, while relaxing in the garden, or when enjoying a local beauty spot or family gathering. From experience I have found that people enjoy being in familiar surroundings rather than a studio, this enables me to capture your family lifestyle in a natural, informal way. I started photography with film, developing my own prints in a darkroom, but now I shoot entirely digitally.
Photo shoots tend to last between 1 to 1.5 hours although very young children tend to tire about an hour. After the shoot all of your photographs will be put onto a webpage in both colour and black & white so that you can choose which prints you would like to purchase.
The majority of my photographs are taken using natural light as this is usually the most flattering. For gloomier days, I use powerful, but portable studio lights which are easily able to light up any large room.
